Job summary

Geotech in South Africa is seeking a Capital Sales Engineer to blend engineering know-how with commercial acumen, responsible for developing mining equipment solutions and turning opportunities into orders across Africa.

You will prepare technical tenders, proposals and costings, identify and pursue capital equipment sales opportunities, build relationships with mining clients, consultants and EPC firms, and drive negotiations through to order while managing the sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender preparation and capital equipment sales.
• Strong commercial and costing understanding.
• Mining or heavy engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend technical equipment solutions.
• Identify and pursue capital equipment sales opportunities.
• Prepare technical tenders, proposals and costings.
• Build relationships with mining clients, consultants and EPC companies.
• Support technical and commercial negotiations through to order.
• Conduct client presentations and site assessments.
• Manage the sales pipeline and client relationships.
