Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining vehicles (e.g., haul trucks, excavators, dozers, loaders) safely and efficiently according to company procedures.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all mine site safety regulations, including traffic management plans and hazard reporting.
• Transport materials (e.g., ore, overburden, equipment) as directed to designated locations on the mine site.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment through proactive hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Follow precise operating instructions and respond effectively to signals and communication from supervisors and spotters.
• Ensure optimal fuel efficiency and proper operation of equipment during shifts.
• Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and operational debriefings.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, distances traveled, and any operational incidents.

Requirements

• Valid professional driver's license (appropriate code for heavy vehicles) and a clean driving record.
