Placements24 is seeking a strategic Mine Planning Specialist for Randburg to lead long- and short-term mine planning, optimize layouts, and ensure safe, economical extraction.

You'll collaborate with geologists and engineers to translate models into viable mine plans, design pits and haul routes, and run production simulations using Deswik, Vulcan, and Surpac. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mine planning.
• Proficiency with Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac.
• Strong understanding of geological modeling, resource estimation, and mine economics.
• Experience with scheduling software and production forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
