Placements24 in Polokwane seeks an experienced Mine Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of production at our client's facility. This senior leadership role requires a strategic approach to safety, efficiency and cost control, and you will lead a diverse team of professionals.

You will drive operational improvements, manage underground/open-pit mining operations, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, while delivering targets and developing the team.

Qualifications

• BSc or BEng in Mining Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years' progressive management experience in mine operations.
• Experience managing large-scale open-pit or underground mining operations.
• Strong mine planning, production scheduling, and cost-control know-how.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all underground and/or open-pit mining operations to achieve production targets.
