Job summary

Valterra Platinum is seeking a Mine Overseer Non Production to drive the Business Improvement Strategy at the Mototolo Der Brochen operations. You will facilitate future initiative planning, develop business cases and manage governance, sign-off, and benefits tracking for engagement centre and HR processes.

Responsibilities include managing the engagement center processes, QA of applicants, sick leave management, analysing labor availability drivers, contributing to budget savings, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in HR related field (NQF Level 6) must be relevant to HR roles in mining.
• Mine Overseer Certificate is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Management of the Engagement Center processes and value chain.
• Quality assurance on applicants for jobs before appointment.
• Managing the long-term Sick leave’s for Anglo American Platinum.
• Analysis of labor unavailability drivers and design remedial interventions.
• Provide Business Improvement input to budget savings.
• Ensure conformance to governance and project sign-off by identifying project risks and effective management and tracking of projects and value delivery.
• Ensure regular feedback is given to all users on the Operation and the Management team on the operations.
• Develop and implement communication and change strategy per initiative through facilitating AO communication at the operation and ensuring buy in and commitment on initiatives.
• Mine engagement and project communication as well as best practice sharing of ideas and business processes.
