Placements24 is seeking a Mine Health and Safety Manager in Benoni to lead and implement comprehensive safety programs across operations. The role focuses on creating a safe working environment, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards in the Gauteng region.

Responsibilities include developing the MH&S management system, conducting audits and risk assessments, investigating incidents, and training staff.

Formación

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in mine health and safety management.
• Strong knowledge of South African mining regulations (Mine Health and Safety Act).
• Professional certification such as SAMTRAC or NOSC is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
