You will implement the Health and Safety Management System, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture among employees and contractors.

The role requires a National Diploma in Safety Management, at least four years in mining HSE, and registration with a professional body such as SAIOSH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Health and Safety role within the mining industry.
• Registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., SAIOSH).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site's Health and Safety Management System.

• Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
