Placements24 is seeking a Mine Environmental Officer to oversee environmental compliance and management at mining operations near Nelspruit. You will ensure adherence to environmental legislation, manage EMPs and rehabilitation programs, and collaborate with regulators and communities to sustain high environmental standards.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, monitoring water, air, and noise; investigating incidents; and promoting best practices among staff.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all national and local environmental legislation and permits.

Requirements

• Experience with environmental monitoring techniques and data analysis.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
