Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Millwright Technician for an industrial facility in Randburg. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, ensuring continuous production.

The ideal candidate has a trade certificate and 6+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus welding and fabrication skills. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Millwright with trade certificate as required.
• Extensive hands-on maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Proficiency with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, dismantle, and repair intricate machinery per specifications.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance including lubrication and adjustments.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults with diagnostic tools.
• Fabricate and assemble parts for repairs and installations.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Uphold strict safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
