Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric and N3 are required.
• Millwright trade test certificate endorsed by Labour or SETA (Red Seal).
• 3–5 years of relevant FMCG experience; FMCG/FMEA is a plus.
• Strong mechanical background with PLC and automation experience.
• Wireman’s license or willingness to study for one.
• Leadership experience in prior roles.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, welding, PLC, and milling equipment is advantageous.
• Driver’s license, own transport, and residence near Malmesbury for standby/callouts.
• Willing to work standby/callouts and overtime as production dictates.
• Experience in trouble-shooting and diagnostics, quick breakdown response, MTTR focus.
• Eligible to perform EHS/compliance tasks and address quality findings.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and basic rigging; LOTO procedures.

• Ensured Preventative Maintenance compliance.
• Attended to Food safety action items.
• Work on blowers, compressors, facilities, etc.
• Gemba walks, close-out of NCs and housekeeping.

• Millwright trade test certificate endorsed by Department of Labour or applicable to SETA (Red seal)
• 3-5 years relevant experience (FMCG/FMEA experience will be an added advantage)
• Strong Mechanical background coupled with PLC and automation experience
• Preferable to have a wireman's license or must be interested and willing to study and attain a wireman's license.
• Must have leadership experience and capabilities through previous roles performed
• Advantageous experience SAP Fiori, Welding, PLC, milling equipment experience young energetic with career advancement ambitions
• Driver's licence, own transport and living nearby Malmesbury is a strong must to be able to work standby/callouts
• Be prepared to work standby/callouts and overtime as and when required by production demands
• Experience in conducting trouble-shooting and diagnostic (fault finding), quick respond to breakdowns/MTTR is a strong requirement
• Be eligible to perform compliance tasks as per EHS and non-compliant findings as per Quality requirements.
• Be able to be licenced to operate forklifts, lifting equipment e.g. overhead cranes and basic rigging
• Apply LOTO on hazardous energies.
