Boardroom Appointments in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Millwright to maintain and upgrade automated beverage production lines. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, plus a track record with packaging equipment.
You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with new equipment installation while adhering to safety standards. On-call standby may be required.
Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electrical panels, wiring, sensors, and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on production lines, conveyors, pumps, motors, and packaging machinery.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and ensure equipment longevity.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with OHS Act and all safety protocols.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and installation documentation.
Communicate effectively with production teams and provide technical support or training when required.
Be available for standby and emergency call-outs after hours, weekends, and public holidays.
Millwright Trade Test.
N3/N4 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Code 10 Drivers License with PDP.
Proven track record in maintaining automated production lines and packaging equipment.
Strong electrical knowledge, including PLCs, drives, and motor control systems.
Mechanical expertise across pumps, conveyors, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Exposure to refrigeration systems and chillersis highly advantageous.
