Job summary

C3R in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman (Mid-Level or Senior) to join its specialist mechanical engineering team. You will develop detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings and technical documentation for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and related equipment.

The role requires 5–10+ years' draughting experience, practical pressure equipment exposure, and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD. Office-based, salary negotiable based on seniority and experience.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years' experience in mechanical draughting and 3D modelling.
• Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers or pressure equipment.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Qualification in Mechanical or Technical Draughting.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Produce general arrangement, assembly, manufacturing and installation drawings.
• Prepare BOMs, drawing registers and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and fabricators.
• Ensure drawings comply with codes and project specs.
