Job summary

C3 Resources is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join our engineering team in Centurion. You will develop accurate 3D models, detailed mechanical drawings and fabrication documentation for varied industrial equipment and process plant applications.

Ideal candidates have strong 3D modelling skills, proven experience with Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD, and a solid background in creating assemblies, fabrication drawings and BOMs for engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Draughting or Technical Draughting.
• 510 years' experience in mechanical draughting and 3D modelling in an engineering/industrial environment.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or comparable 3D design software.
• Experience creating detailed assemblies, fabrication drawings and BOMs.
• Understanding of mechanical components, materials and fabrication practices.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical docs.
• Exposure to process plant equipment or industrial machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
• Produce general arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings.
• Prepare BOMs, drawing schedules and technical docs.
• Interpret sketches, specifications and design calculations.
• Assist engineers with layouts, detailing and design development.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards and project specs.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Review and update drawings based on changes and site feedback.
