Placements24 is seeking a Mid-Level Architectural Designer in Stellenbosch, Western Cape to contribute to residential and commercial projects. You will work with senior designers, develop concepts, and produce detailed drawings through construction documentation.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years post-grad experience, a professional architecture degree, and strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. A compelling portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• 4–6 years of post-graduate experience in architectural design.
• Portfolio showcasing design talent and project experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong visualization, graphics, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural design concepts from schematic design through construction documentation.
• Produce high-quality drawings, renderings, and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project teams on design development.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning, and sustainability principles.
• Assist in specifications and tender documentation.
