Job summary

You will drive continuous improvement, run plant trials, develop process models and monitor KPIs, ensuring safety and environmental standards within a forward‑thinking mining organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6 years in mineral processing/metallurgical engineering.
• Experience with METSIM or JKSimMet is preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Optimize processes to improve recovery and throughput.
• Run plant trials and testing for improvements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement fixes.
• Develop and maintain process models.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D on pilot studies and scale-up.
• Provide training to operators and engineers.
• Manage process improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Evaluate new equipment and technologies for upgrades.
