Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in mineral processing plant operations and design, with mining focus.
• Proficiency with process simulation software such as METSIM, HSC Chemistry, Aspen Plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize mineral processing circuits including comminution, flotation, leaching, and gravity separation.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to identify improvements and validate design changes.
• Troubleshoot operations, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize recovery.
• Perform plant performance monitoring and analysis, developing strategies for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, process design documents, and operational manuals.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management for seamless project execution and performance.
• Stay updated with latest mineral processing technology and assess applicability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within Midrand.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
