Placements24 is seeking a creative Merchandising Manager for Soweto, Gauteng. You will develop in-store merchandising strategies, manage product placements and displays, and ensure brand visibility aligns with marketing objectives.

Regular on-site store visits across Soweto will be essential to drive sales and reinforce the brand presence. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in merchandising/retail, strong visual skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of store visits.
• Experience in Soweto, Gauteng retail landscape is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in the FMCG sector, is seeking a creative and strategic Merchandising Manager to join their team in Soweto, Gauteng. This role is critical for ensuring optimal product presentation and maximizing sales performance at retail points of sale. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies, managing in-store displays, and ensuring brand visibility aligns with marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail environments, a keen eye for visual appeal, and excellent organizational skills. This position requires regular on-site visits to retail locations across the Soweto area to implement and monitor merchandising plans.
