Job summary

Managed People Solutions is offering a dynamic 12 to 18 month internship program in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, designed for unemployed youth aged 18–28. Participants will receive hands-on workplace training, mentorship, and valuable practical experience in the retail sector. Interns will be responsible for tasks such as stock management and customer assistance, with a monthly stipend of R3,500. Applicants are required to have an N6 TVET certificate or NCV Level 4 in relevant fields, and no prior work experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be between 18–28 years old.
• Must require workplace experience to complete studies.
• Must be willing to learn and grow professionally.
• Must reside in or near Phalaborwa, Limpopo.
• No previous work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and display products on shelves.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels.
• Check product quality and expiry dates.
• Ensure correct pricing and price tags.
• Rotate stock according to FIFO principles.
• Implement promotional displays and campaigns.
• Record merchandising activities and stock issues.
• Assist customers and communicate with store staff.
