Job summary

Managed People Solutions is offering an 18-month internship programme for young, unemployed TVET graduates in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. Successful candidates will work as Junior Merchandisers, gaining hands-on experience in stock selection, merchandising and promotions.

Requirements include under 28 years old and completion of N6 TVET Certificate (Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management). Stipend of R3,500 per month is provided.

Qualifications

• N6 TVET Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock to be merchandised
• Draw stock requirements
• Check vintage, product quality on the shelf, stock rotation, and price tags
• Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief
• Feedback on customer complaints, queries, and requests
• Communicate and upkeep knowledge of product and promotions
• Effectively record merchandising activities
• Execute calls as per call cycle
• Advice RSM on out-of-stock products
