Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty invites applications for an 18-month internship programme in the Durban South Coast area. The role is for Junior Merchandisers, offering hands-on experience in stock selection, merchandising, and customer service while completing an N6 TVET certificate.

Stipend of R3 500 per month is provided to unemployed youth under age 28, with the programme designed to bridge to an N6 Diploma. 18-month duration with practical on-site training.

Qualifications

• N6 TVET Certificate is required for the programme.
• Under 28 years old is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock to be merchandised.
• Draw stock requirements.
• Check vintage, product quality on shelf, stock rotation and price tags.
• Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief.
• Provide feedback on customer complaints, queries and requests.
• Communicate and maintain knowledge of product and promotions.
• Record merchandising activities accurately.
• Execute calls as per call cycle.
• Advise RSM on out-of-stock products.
