Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to work remotely across the North West province. You will be the scientific and clinical expert for designated therapeutic areas, engaging with KOLs and healthcare professionals to disseminate complex data and gather field insights.

The role requires an advanced scientific degree and a minimum of 3 years in an MSL or medical affairs role, with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based, remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in healthcare or life sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a medical affairs role.
• Strong knowledge of clinical literature and trial processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals in assigned therapeutic areas.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data regarding company products and disease states.
• Gather and communicate insights from KOLs and medical community to internal teams (R&D, Marketing).
• Support development and execution of the medical affairs strategy.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare professionals.
• Represent the company at medical congresses and scientific meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in medical congresses and scientific meetings as a representative of the company.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant healthcare or life sciences field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar medical affairs role.
• In-depth knowledge of specific therapeutic areas and relevant scientific literature.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively in a remote , field-based capacity.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and data interpretation.
