Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Medical Representative to promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals in Stellenbosch and the Western Cape. You will drive product awareness and help achieve sales targets in your territory.

You will educate doctors, clinics and pharmacies on product benefits, present at conferences, and report market insights to the Sales Manager. A Pharmacy or Life Sciences degree and proven healthcare sales experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare landscape.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, including doctors, specialists, and pharmacists.
• Educate healthcare professionals on the features, benefits, and therapeutic applications of company products.
• Organize and conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and attend relevant medical conferences.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
• Report on sales activities, customer feedback, and market intelligence to the sales manager.
