Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Medical Affairs Manager to lead the medical affairs function in a fully remote capacity. You will develop and execute medical strategies across key therapeutic areas, ensuring scientific accuracy in all communications and initiatives.

You will liaise with healthcare professionals and KOLs, oversee materials review for regulatory compliance, and provide medical guidance to marketing, sales and R&D. This is a strategic, high-impact role with global reach.

Qualifications

MD, PharmD, PhD or advanced life-science degree required.
Minimum 5 years in Medical Affairs in pharma.
Proven track record with HCPs and KOLs.
Strong knowledge of product development, trials and regulatory affairs.
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategic medical plans.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive medical affairs strategies aligned with product development and commercial goals.

Oversee the review and approval of all promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal teams, including marketing, sales, and R&D.

Stay current with the latest clinical data, therapeutic trends, and competitor activities in relevant therapeutic areas.

Requirements

M.D., Pharm.D., Ph.D., or advanced degree in a relevant life science discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated experience in engaging with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product development, clinical trial processes, and regulatory affairs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote collaboration .
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic medical plans.
