Job summary

Air Liquide in Alrode (South Africa) seeks a Project Leader - Medgas Technical Specialist to take full ownership of medical gas estimates and lead projects from initial design through to completion. You will serve as the technical SME for the Healthcare business line, collaborating with sales, maintenance teams, facility managers and clients to resolve complex challenges and deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering, chemistry, etc.
More than 5 years of experience in the Healthcare field (project management, engineering, etc.)
SACGA Registered for medical Gasses
Knowledge of project management principles (Planning and Budgeting)
Familiarity with SABS, OHS ACT & SANS regulations as applicable
Knowledge of pipe system design and construction; equipment for cryogenic gases; risk assessment methods (HAZOP)

Responsibilities

Manage all project-related aspects of the Healthcare Business line.
Estimate from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and regulatory/quality standards.
Support Sales with equipment design, technical specification & implementation.
Assist Maintenance with all existing and new equipment.
Implement Air Liquide’s Safety and Quality Standards.
Collaborate with IMS coordinator to implement Technical standards for Healthcare operations
