Job summary

Air Liquide in Alrode, Alberton seeks a Project Leader - Medgas Technical Specialist to own medical gas estimates and drive projects from design to completion. You will be the Healthcare SME, collaborating with sales, maintenance teams, facility managers and clients to resolve technical challenges, ensuring regulatory compliance and AL IMS adherence.

Requirements include a university degree in engineering or chemistry, SACGA registration for medical gases, and strong communication and budgeting

Qualifications

• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (SABS, OHS Act) and risk methods such as HAZOP.

Responsibilities

• Project management from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Provide design, technical specifications and implementation support to the Sales team.
• Support Maintenance team for existing and new equipment installed.
• Enforce Air Liquide’s Safety and Quality Standards.
• Collaborate with IMS coordinator to implement Healthcare Technical standards.

You will serve as the technical subject matter expert for the Healthcare business line, collaborating directly with sales, maintenance teams, facility managers, and clients to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver reliable solutions.
