Qualifications

• HVAC building services design experience in consulting engineering.
• Experience in design and delivery of HVAC building services projects.
• Professional registration with Engineering Council of South Africa is advantageous.
• 3–5+ years' experience in HVAC consulting engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design HVAC building services systems.
• Conduct HVAC system audits and assessments.
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Manage HVAC projects from concept through to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Building Services Consulting Engineer to join its team in Centurion. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with experience in HVAC building services design and consulting to contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial and institutional projects.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design, specification, project management, and delivery of HVAC systems across a variety of building sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design HVAC building services systems.
• Conduct HVAC system audits and assessments.
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Manage HVAC projects from concept through to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng Mechanical Engineering, BSc Mechanical Engineering, or BTech Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in the design and delivery of HVAC building services projects
• Professional registration with Engineering Council of South Africa is advantageous
