Job summary

Rheinmetall Denel Munitions is seeking a mechanically inclined engineer to support Industrialization activities and drive production readiness. You will assist engineers with planning, prepare CAD drawings and tooling specifications, and participate in meetings to push process improvements.

Qualifications

• Completed S4 subjects in Mechanical Engineering or a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Analytical thinker with good reasoning and problem-solving skills on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Basic knowledge for developing 2D/3D models and CAD modelling.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineers with project planning and implementation activities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports, for tooling and equipment.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering team.

• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions policies and procedures and ensures compliance to ISO standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.
