Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC for our client in George. You will design, model, and manage HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, focusing on energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of HVAC design experience, with proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and HVAC load analysis. PE/PrEng is a plus; LEED knowledge is advantageous. A competitive package is offered.

Responsibilities

About the Role Our client, a leading firm in building services and environmental solutions, is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to join their team in George . This role is integral to the design, implementation, and management of advanced heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for creating system designs, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. • Knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
• Experience with control systems and building management systems (BMS) is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage project timelines.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Pr.Eng. registration is a plus.
• Experience with sustainable building design (e.g., LEED) is advantageous.
