Placements24 in Randburg is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will ensure thermal comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency while collaborating with architects and other engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an HVAC focus, at least five years of design and project

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design and project execution.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Revit MEP, AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and green building practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify HVAC systems, including AHUs, chillers, boilers, and distribution networks.
• Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and system performance analysis.
• Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
