Placements24 is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with HVAC specialization to design, implement, and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial projects in Pretoria. The role focuses on energy efficiency, system performance and compliance with codes and standards.

You will design HVAC solutions for new builds and retrofits, coordinate with architects and contractors, and oversee installation and commissioning across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
• Proficiency with HVAC design software: HAP, Trace 700, AutoCAD MEP.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• Experience with building management systems (BMS) is a plus.
