Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of HVAC design experience.
  • Proficiency with HVAC design software (HAP, TRACE, AutoCAD MEP).
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and building science.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE and SANS standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

This role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
