Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical design and development, preferably energy sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks preferred, and experience with PDM/PLM systems.
• Solid understanding of engineering analysis techniques (FEA, thermal analysis).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for energy generation and storage technologies.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, ensuring manufacturability and performance.
• Conduct engineering analysis including thermal management, stress analysis, and vibration studies to validate design integrity.
• Oversee fabrication and assembly of prototypes, ensuring adherence to design specs and quality standards.
• Plan and execute rigorous testing procedures for mechanical components and systems; analyze results and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, material scientists, and project managers for cohesive system development.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate progress and findings.
• Support scale-up from prototype to pilot production and full-scale manufacturing.
