Job summary

Network Finance for a specialist multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years' design experience in industrial process plants. You will design off-gas treatment systems, review vendor docs, and support commissioning throughout project lifecycles.

Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and Plant 3D is required, along with strong calculations and drawing skills. Opportunities span mining, smelting, steel and EPC environments in a global context.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience in industrial process plants.
• Proven experience with off-gas treatment, air pollution control, dust extraction or gas cleaning systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical solutions for off-gas treatment plants, including baghouses and scrubbers.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, layouts and fabrication drawings.
• Review vendor documentation, support commissioning, participate in design reviews and HAZOPs.

They provide full engineering, design, fabrication and implementation services on complex industrial projects.

Design and deliver mechanical solutions for off-gas treatment and air pollution control plants, including baghouses, wet scrubbers, cyclones, ducting, stacks and associated equipment. Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, layouts and fabrication drawings, review vendor documentation, support commissioning activities, participate in design reviews and HAZOPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BEng/BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' mechanical design experience within industrial process plants.
• Proven experience with off-gas treatment, air pollution control, dust extraction or gas cleaning systems.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Plant 3D and mechanical design calculations.
• Experience within mining, smelters, ferroalloys, steel, PGM, pyrometallurgical or EPC process plant environments.
