Job summary

AGC Mining Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman for mining and engineering projects in the North West region. You will create detailed designs, develop drawings for manufacturing, and collaborate with design engineers from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree or diploma and at least five years of experience, with SolidWorks and Office 365 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mining, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Office 365.
• Proactive, creative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Basic understanding of engineering, design, and mining principles.
• Ability to thrive under pressure with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed product designs aligned with specifications.
• Develop precise drawings for manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with design engineers from concept to completion.
• Ensure quality assurance in all detailing work.
• Assist with product development and project documentation.
• Liaise with Workshop and Engineering teams.
• Supply drawings and information as needed.
• Communicate across departments to resolve issues.
• Meet deadlines consistently.
