Job summary

The role requires a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of design experience, with SolidWorks/AutoCAD and FEA proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or AutoCAD and FEA tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems forrenewable energy installations (solar trackers, mounting structures, BOS).
• Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using CAD software.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis using FEA and other simulation tools.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical engineers, and project managers for integrated design.
• Contribute to site layout design and component selection for projects.
• Oversee prototyping and testing phases for new designs.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project needs.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and materials for efficiency and cost savings.
