Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical design for industrial machinery or automation.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA).
• Experience with FEA and CFD simulation tools.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion control is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.
• DFM/ DFA design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for advanced manufacturing equipment using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to validate designs.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems.
• Develop prototypes, conduct testing, and analyze results to refine designs.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues during the manufacturing and implementation phases.
• Research and evaluate new materials, components, and technologies for design improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
