The role runs work end to end, from demand intake and planning through execution with the shared marketing team to reporting on outcome. It leads account-based marketing for the strategic and whitespace accounts in its portfolio, manages the partner and OEM co-marketing relationships that fund and amplify growth, and represents marketing in the business leadership conversations. The role is measured on the contribution marketing makes to pipeline and account growth, not on the volume of activity delivered.

- Develop and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, content, media, partner and event channels that generate qualified enquiry and support the growth targets of the assigned businesses.
- Agree lead volume and quality expectations with sales, ensure leads are handed over with context and followed up, and work the conversion points where enquiry turns into opportunity.
- Write briefs, set timelines and manage delivery through the shared design, digital, content and campaign operations lanes, and through appointed agencies.
- Ensure all messaging, claims and creative meet organisational brand standards, corporate messaging and the digital marketing operating playbook.
- Account-Based Marketing and New Account Growth
- Lead account-based marketing for the strategic and whitespace accounts allocated to the portfolio, working from the account plan standard and the account intelligence set held centrally.
- Build and maintain account plans covering account research, buying centre and key contacts, published results and strategy, entry tactics and the agreed sequence of engagement.
- Work with sales and executive stakeholders to agree account priorities, secure executive sponsorship for engagement, and keep the account plan current.
- Track account progression through the agreed funnel stages and report movement, with pipeline reported only at the qualified stage.
- Partner and OEM Co-Marketing
- Partner with the business on day to day co-marketing relationships with the OEMs and technology partners relevant to the portfolio, including joint campaign planning, joint content and joint pipeline goals.
- Report joint campaign results back to the partner and to the business, including pipeline influenced.
- Events, Sponsorships and Executive Engagement
- Own the business case for proposed events and sponsorships, covering objective, audience, cost, resourcing, expected return and the follow up plan, for approval before commitment.
- Deliver participation at industry events, proprietary summits, roundtables and webinars, working with the central events coordination lane on logistics and supplier management.
- Support executive visibility for the assigned businesses, including speaker abstracts, session content, briefing material and follow up.
- Complete post-event reporting to the standard organisational reporting format, covering outcome against objective and the opportunities generated.
- Content, Customer Stories and Enablement
- Identify and progress customer success stories from the assigned businesses, including securing customer consent through the approved reference agreement process.
- Brief and quality assure content, including web copy, campaign assets, sales enablement material and thought leadership submissions, and ensure factual accuracy of all client and company claims.
- Budget and Commercial Governance
- Plan and manage the marketing budget held in the assigned businesses against the approved allocation, with visibility of committed, spent and available funds at all times.
