The role requires strong industry networks and a passion for creating new opportunities across Breakbulk, Dry Bulk, Liquid Bulk, and Project Cargo markets.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development within shipping, logistics, port services, freight forwarding, commodities, maritime services, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, customers, contracts, and vessel nominations.
• Expand market share across Breakbulk, Dry Bulk, Liquid Bulk, Project Cargo, and related maritime services.
• Develop strategic relationships with cargo owners, shipping lines, mining houses, traders, industrial clients, exporters, importers, and logistics providers.
• Drive growth across South Africa's key ports, including Durban, Richards Bay, Cape Town, Saldanha Bay, and Ngqura/Coega.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and consistently deliver against revenue and growth targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the maritime and logistics sectors.
