Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their client’s production team. You will operate and maintain a range of manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality goods in line with specifications.

This hands-on role requires technical proficiency, a strong work ethic, and the ability to read technical drawings. You will record production data, support process improvements, and collaborate with supervisors and engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals; familiarity with SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment according to production schedules and SOPs.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on equipment.
• Monitor product quality and conduct in-process inspections for deviations.
