Job summary

Pro Talent is seeking a stores supervisor to take full control of the stores operations in our Durban-area facility. The role includes supervision of all store processes, stock counts, and reconciliation of consumables and tools.

You will oversee cycle counts and stock takes, manage timesheets, and ensure accurate requisition and consignment stock handling. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of proven stores management experience, preferably with an engineering/steel manufacturing background,

Qualifications

• 8 – 10 years’ proven stores management experience.
• An engineering/steel manufacturing background will be an advantage.
• Computer literacy with intermediate to advanced Excel skills is non-negotiable.
• A relevant qualification in warehouse management and/or supply chain management will be a distinct advantage.
• Strategic thinking and leadership.
• Assertive and persuasive communicator with a strong grasp of business challenges.

• General and financial control and supervision of all stores - including but not limited to receiving, tools & consumables
• Gas bottle count and reconciliation
• Stock planning and ordering
• Timesheet management of all stores-related employees
