Job summary

Chladni is looking for a Sales Engineer who understands manufacturing and knows how to sell. You’ll be creating opportunities, speaking directly with manufacturers, understanding their equipment and problems, and moving conversations toward a sale.

You don’t need to have worked inside a factory, but manufacturing should not be foreign to you. You may have previously worked in sales, customer support, account management, or technical support for an OEM, automation company, machinery supplier,

Qualifications

• Good understanding of manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Able to discuss motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, production lines, and downtime.
• Confident with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
• Able to run discovery calls and product demonstrations.
• Comfortable speaking with Maintenance Managers, Reliability Engineers, and Plant Managers.

Responsibilities

• Create opportunities and move conversations toward a sale.
• Speak directly with manufacturers and understand their equipment and problems.
• Sell technical solutions to industrial customers.
