About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Planner to join their team in Bloemfontein . This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of production by creating and managing realistic production schedules that meet demand while optimizing resource utilization. You will work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to anticipate needs, manage inventory levels, and resolve any scheduling conflicts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and planning software, operating within a hybrid work framework that balances on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules for all manufacturing lines.


• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.


• Monitor production progress against schedules, identifying and addressing deviations proactively.


• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to meet demand and minimize holding costs.

Requirements
