With a BSc or BEng in engineering and 5+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, you will drive lean projects, change control, SOP development and training, while engaging operators to surface production

Qualifications

• BSc / BEng in Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Business Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Set, publish and communicate departmental targets, measures and deadlines, and review technical plans to improve production and facility equipment.
• Manage continuous improvement, site loss elimination and lean improvement projects, and provide technical support and specifications to operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment, manufacturing process and facility issues, engaging operators to surface production problems.
• Standardise and improve processes to increase robustness and compliance, and reduce cost, lead time, inventory, downtime and waste.
• Evaluate, justify and qualify process and equipment changes through change control, ensuring risk assessments are completed before implementation.
• Develop and update process documentation, SOPs and training material covering processes, equipment operation and operator safety.
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions within target dates and design controls to minimise production issues.
• Prepare technical reports and present process data, project progress and issues for review and decision-making.
