Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer for their East London production facility. The role focuses on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality on the factory floor.
You will collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement across operations. The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree with 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering and proficiency in CAD
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Develop, implement, and document new manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
- Design tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support production.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D on manufacturability and DFM.
- Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance on the shop floor.
