Alexforbes is seeking an experienced Manager to lead a team responsible for the administration of stand-alone retirement funds. The role focuses on operational excellence, superior client service, regulatory compliance, and effective team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee end-to-end fund administration, manage stakeholder relationships, present at trustee meetings, and drive continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years' experience within retirement fund administration.
• 4+ years' experience leading and managing teams.
• Strong understanding of stand-alone retirement funds and fund administration processes.
• Experience managing all major benefit claim types, reconciliations and billing.
• Experience preparing and presenting trustee reports.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with fund governance and regulatory reporting.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Manager to lead a team responsible for the administration of stand-alone retirement funds. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, exceptional client service, regulatory compliance, and the effective management of a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing end-to-end fund administration, managing stakeholder relationships, presenting at trustee meetings, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Lead and manage a team of administration professionals.

Oversee the administration of stand-alone retirement funds.

Manage all benefit claim types, including death, withdrawal, disability and retirement claims.

Experience preparing and presenting trustee reports.

Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
