Job summary

Indwe Risk Services in Durban is seeking a Business Insurance Manager to lead a commercial team focused on retaining and growing profitable clients and acquiring new profitable commercial business. This permanent role requires strong leadership and insurance expertise in a broker environment.

The ideal candidate has 7-10 years in short-term commercial insurance sales and service, a relevant qualification, and a proven track record in management or supervision.

Qualifications

• Matric and Level 4 FETC Short Term Insurance Qualification.
• Passed exam RE: Representatives (RE5).
• Higher Certificate in Insurance.
• 7–10 years' experience in short-term commercial insurance sales and service in a brokerage.
• 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity.

• Matric
• Level 4 FETC Short Term Insurance Qualification

Experience Minimum:

• 7 - 10 Years

Ideal Education:

• Level 4 FETC Short Term Insurance Qualification
• Advantage: Higher Certificate in Insurance (NQF5)
• Passed exam RE: Representatives - RE5
• Diploma in Business/Risk Management an advantage

Ideal Experience:

• 7- 10 years’ short-term commercial insurance sales and service experience in a brokerage
• Corporate experience is an advantage
• 3 years in a management or supervisory capacity (Proven Track record)
