About the Role

Our client, a prominent management consultancy, is seeking a talented Management Consultant to focus on Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) for their clients located in and around Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape . This role is designed for an individual with a strong aptitude for analyzing, designing, and implementing optimized business processes that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. You will collaborate closely with client teams to understand their current operational landscape and co-create innovative solutions. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing significantly to the operational success of businesses in the Eastern Cape . The ideal candidate is a meticulous planner with exceptional analytical skills and a proven ability to drive process improvements that yield measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
• Map current-state processes and design future-state processes incorporating best practices and technological advancements.
• Develop detailed BPR plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to gather process requirements and validate proposed changes.
• Lead the implementation of redesigned processes, working closely with client IT and operational teams.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of re-engineered processes.
• Provide training and support to client staff on new processes and systems.
• Document all process designs, changes, and implementation guidelines.
• Identify opportunities for technology enablement to support process re-engineering initiatives.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business process analysis, re-engineering, or consulting.
• Demonstrated experience in mapping, analyzing, and redesigning business processes using industry-standard methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) is essential.
• Understanding of ERP systems and other relevant business technologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project streams effectively.
• Willingness to engage with clients virtually and, when necessary, on-site in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape .
