Job summary

Snatch | Accounting & Finance Headhunters is partnering with a growing medical services group in the Western Cape to recruit a Management Accountant for a newly created role supporting its expanding operations. You will perform project-based financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting across multiple entities, turning insights into practical improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum BCom in Management Accounting, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• CGMA or Honours in Management Accounting preferred.
• Ideally 2 to 5 years’ relevant commercial experience, with exposure to management accounting or financial planning and analysis.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with practical experience in costing, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Demonstrated experience investigating business opportunities and taking projects from recommendation through implementation.
• Experience coordinating priorities and deliverables across multiple businesses or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets and forecasts for different organizations within the group, providing analysis to support planning and resource allocation.
• Build financial models and assess scenarios to evaluate the costs, viability and profitability of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen business performance.
• Drive agreed projects from analysis through implementation, tracking progress and reporting outcomes and recommendations to leadership.
• Undertake ad hoc business and non-finance duties, including administrative coordination and follow-up on operational and compliance requirements across the group.
