Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) invites applications for a Maintenance Worker (Handyman) based in Premier. The role reports to the Team Leader: Site and involves hands-on repair, preventative maintenance, and carpentry-related tasks within the facility.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in tiling, painting, plumbing or carpentry, with a construction background. This is a permanent, on-site position in KwaZulu-Natal.

• Minimum two years proven experience in construction trades such as tiling, painting, plumbing or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems to keep facilities in good condition.
• Maintain ablution facilities and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, and wooden structures.
• Assemble piping systems and plumbing equipment as required.
• Repair counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures like sheds and outbuildings.

About the Role

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Engineering department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for as a Maintetnce Worker (Handyman), that will be based in Premier. The successful candidate will report directly to Team Leader: Site in Premier.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment - Perform Routine Preventative maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and the physical conditions of building does not deteriorate - Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches - Maintain ablution facilities - Assemble, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment - Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodworks, plaster drywall and other parts of building structures - Repair counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures such as sheds and outbuildings
