Job summary

Samancor Chrome Ltd. invites applications for the TFC Maint Supervisor Auxiliaries (Steelpoort) role in Limpopo. You will supervise safe, cost-effective maintenance of auxiliary plant, equipment and facilities, guiding artisans and contractors to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate shutdowns, manage resources, monitor maintenance KPIs and ensure compliance with SHEQ and IMS processes in a busy mining environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant maintenance supervisory experience and ability to lead teams.
• Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance or related field, with supervisory exposure.
• External candidates require N6 certificate; internal candidates require N4.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe, cost-effective maintenance of auxiliary plant, equipment and facilities.
• Identify and manage risk exposures and implement control measures.
• Ensure SHEQ compliance and IMS usage within the team.
• Coordinate contractor activities, attend to plant stoppages promptly.
• Review task lists and ensure quality of work and proper documentation.
